State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Here is yet another example of Governor Doyle’s penchant for raiding funds.

The governor is calling for $25 million in rebates designed for consumers to instead be transferred to local governments. It is another in a pattern of moves by the governor to raid funds to use for another purpose. There is a larger principle at play. This is your money and the governor wants to take it away.
